Leagues
Rock Creek Curling offers league play for curlers of all skill and accessibility levels in three distinct seasons - fall, winter, and spring. 4v4 leagues consist of two hours of gameplay. Doubles leagues are 90 minutes in length.
When completing your league registration, you will have the option to note any teammate requests, the number of which depends on the league. We will honor these requests in our leagues to the extent possible, but please be aware that league registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis; we cannot always guarantee that a teammate will be placed on a team if they have not registered by the league registration deadline.
If you don’t have a team, don’t worry! We will help match you with a team during the registration process.
Rock Creek Curling membership and USA Curling membership are required for league participation. Be sure to have your Rock Creek Curling membership before registering for leagues, and have your USA Curling member ID ready at league registration.

If you are entirely new to curling, we recommend signing up for an Intro to Curling course. These courses will feature weekly progressive instruction and gameplay led by Rock Creek Curling’s instructors and experienced curlers.
League Formats
Open: Teams of 4, all-gender, mixed experience levels. Fun, challenging, and supportive. A great choice for novice curlers.
Recreational: Teams of 4, all-gender, mixed experience levels. Just for fun, and a great choice for new and novice curlers.
Competitive: Teams of 4, all-gender, with competitive aspirations and skill levels. Expect a challenging level of play!
Open Doubles: Teams of 4, all-gender, mixed experience levels. Pools based on competitive levels, if needed, to support player development. 90-minute games with doubles rules.
Candy Cane: 4 teams of 10. All teams will play each week, facing off against a different team each time. People register as individuals and will be "drafted" onto teams. Same basic format as Rock League (2 games of 4v4, and a game of doubles). A team wins the match if they win the best of three face-offs. 7-end games, with the last end having the 2-point pin in effect. Doubles play 8 ends.
Lunchtime Drop-In: Occurring once a month on Wednesdays. Scramble format and lunch specials to follow!

Payment Plans
Rock Creek Curling offers a 3-part payment plan for all leagues, allowing you to spread the investment of your curling across several months, depending on the seasons you curl. An initial payment is required at the time of registration.
